Gmail On request
Agents keep email replies in the same inbox as social.
Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace inbox so your team can answer email conversations, such as form submissions, from Sift. Replies go out from your inbox or an approved alias, and answers come back to the same conversation.

Goes back out

- Send from a verified aliasSuch as a Google Group
- Labels on Sift threads in Gmail
What agents do with it
01
Answer form submissions
Reply by email to a form submission that captured an address, from the same inbox as social.
02
Keep the thread together
When the customer answers, the reply joins the same conversation in Sift.
Set it up
- Ask the Sift team to turn Gmail on for your organization.
- Then open Settings, then Integrations, then Gmail, and connect your Google account.
- Choose the address replies are sent from.
- Turn the inbox on.
Good to know
- Gmail is turned on per organization. Ask the Sift team to enable it.
- Sift reads only replies on threads it manages. It does not access other email.
- To send as another address, add and verify it as a Send mail as alias in Gmail first.
